I've always been a big fan of iFrogz products, so naturally I was expecting great things from this product. I was sold by the brand name and the styling to match my iFrogz Luxe iPhone case. I can't fault iFrogz on the look & design of the ear-buds, which are very aesthetically pleasing, and the control button is very sturdy & responsive (this was always an issue for me on the original supplied iPhone ear-buds, as the button would always go bad after about 3 months of use).

My main complaint is in the low sound quality of this product. A decent bass end is always an issue with ear-buds, but this product wasn't even on a par with Apple's proprietary buds. The sound was very thin, tinny, and seriously lacking in any warmth or richness of tone. I spent much time playing with the EQ settings on my iPhone but to no avail. I eventually went back to my old headset just to give my ears a break!

Another issue I noticed was the terrible wind & ambient noise being constantly picked up by the microphone while listening to music. I would have thought that the mic would only have been active when on a call, and there's nothing more annoying than hearing the mic rubbing against your body while walking!

I don't want to sound mean but I was almost relieved when I lost the ear-buds a few weeks later - at least I could buy something else new a clear conscience!

C'mon iFrogz, you're so much better than this!
