Product Description The Logitech Harmony 1100 gives you powerful home-entertainment control through a customizable, 3.5-inch full-color touch screen. Controls are easy to access and are backlit, so you can easily find them in the dark. One-touch, activity-based controls turn on the right devices in the right order with a single command. RF wireless capability lets you control devices without direct line-of-sight, so you can keep components in a closed cabinet or even another room (requires Logitech Harmony RF Extender, sold separately). The on-screen commands are customizable, so you get the commands you want, when you want them. The Harmony 1100 supports more than 5000 brands and over 225,000 devices.

Great remote!! July 27, 2010 Derick1105 (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my third Harmony remote and by far the best one I've owned due to it's RF capabilities. It replaced my Harmony ONE (which is now used in the family room) and could not be more pleased. I'm glad that it does not have the glossy finish like the harmony one which is a finger print magnet. The only down fall if any, is that the battery live is short and definitely needs to be charged on its dock every night.
Logitech Harmony 1100 July 26, 2010 chris scholl Much more pricey than previous versions, but so far it works much easier. Programs exactly as any other harmony remote. requires two hands mostly for operation.
ALS patient July 25, 2010 Elad 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My wife has als and could no longer push the buttons on her tv remote. So I got this due to a recomendation of a tv expert because of the touch screen... I paid him to program it for the Tv, channels, dvc, sound system. and it is by far the best thing that has happened to her in a long time. She can now change anything , just by brushing her finger on the screen... I have no idea how hard it is to program.. you may want to hire somebody , I did but this solved our problem.
Pricey, but it works great. July 22, 2010 Paul Chase My AV system consists of an HD TV, a cable box, an Apple TV, a Bluray player, an AV receiver, an HDMI/charging doc for my Droid X and a three port HDMI switch. I was trying to run my AV system with five remotes. While I could do it, my wife could not so I needed a solution. I researched several remotes and settled on this one. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
Pros: Once it's set up, it makes running my AV system a breeze. Having a charging station to put it in means it doesn't get lost. The touch screen is bright and clear and the interface is easy to use. On the rare occasions where it glitches, the help menu fixes the problem right away.
Cons: It was a bit of a pain to set up. I don't mean to be overly critical here because the computer software interface is a heck of a lot easier than typing in codes directly on the remote. Any AV system with more than a few components is going to take some effort to get right; however the interface could be a little more intuitive. Also, sometimes a portion of the set up wouldn't stick and I would have to redo it. The form factor of the unit is different than most remotes and takes some getting used to. You need two hands to run the unit. Finally, the unit is pricey.
All in all, I heartily recommend this product. It does exactly what I need it to do.
