I used this in a CCTV install. We used VGA from the DVR to this device. Then from the RCA video out we used a bnc connector to RCA through RG6 wire from one end of the house to the other. Just make sure your ends are made well. I has a little trouble due to my lack of patience. Otherwise perfect for the money.

Got this product because my Asus Netbook doesn't have TV-out. I used the RGB-to-RCA connector. Picture quality streaming Netflix to a 5-year old 42" Panasonic EDTV Plasma TV is a bit rough; very washed-out but can't expect much more with compressed video over the Internet, converted to RGB, and then to RCA. I haven't tried it yet but I expect playing a DVD on the Netbook would be better quality. We had borrowed a Nintendo Wii for a short period. Streaming Netflix using the Wii is much, much better quality. But, it's $200 more :)

Works great to watch online video through my laptop. Picture quality seems fine (I'm not looking for HD). Easy to use, just follow other reviewers instructions re: the jumpers.

Needed a way to watch video on a laptop on the big TV. This served the purpose perfectly with all necessary cables to convert from the laptop's VGA port to the TV's A/V input. Love this and worth every penny.

I bought this videosecu 1L7 box to Watch movies from netflix on my television set.
It is Awesome.....
It works perfect!!!
Being a techy guy I didn't even look at the instruction came with this.
I just connected all the wires properly and started TV(27 Inches) and laptop and pressed Fn key + F10 on my laptop ..VOila....
The images started appearing on my TV.
I just had to set the Vertical and horizontal size of picture and little change in brigtness and contrast.
The Image quality is really good.
The only -ve part of this product is it doesn't show at what level your brightness and contrast is set currently.
I mean the scale is not displayed on screen, You have to rely on your eyes.
The small text doesn't appear clear on screen...But that's not my purpose... The picture quality is superb.
I higly recommend this product for all those who what to eatch movies on big screen.
