Comcast DTA Switch July 11, 2010 Bruce Hammer (Boalsburg, PA) Comcast just switched almost all our stations to digital last month, so you need the Comcast DTA to get all the extended Basic stations. However, since my HDTV has a digital tuner, I can get the HD versions of the networks and digital music stations, but only if I bypass the DTA. I use this to switch between the two. The switch works well for this application.
Charley C. June 4, 2010 C. C. Campbell (Indianapolis, IN) This switch works very well. The "extra indents" mention in other reviews is merely one other position, a center-off position. Neither the A nor the B position will be selected when the switch is in the "center off" position.
RCA A/B Switch September 11, 2009 Roy Saba (Raleigh, NC USA) This switch is inexpensive and was easy to install. It works very well. I can switch between satellite and cable feed.
Works as intended August 16, 2009 Only the best (Atlanta) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this device to split the cable signal between my TV tuner, and a Comcast digital-to-analog converter.
It has been working as intended for the past few months.
Works with Digital Cable August 7, 2009 Paul (USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great switch and it is a two-way device meaning signals can go both ways through it so it works with Comcast's Digital Cable boxes. I wired the switch so the cable ran through it into the smaller Digital Cable box then out from the box to the TV. I was able to watch any of the channels that we get, including the new digital channels, and after leaving it connected this way for a week I was still able to view all the digital channels so it is a two-way switch and can be used with the new Digital Cable boxes that Comcast uses.
