Product Description MODEL- EDGE VENDOR- AUDIOVOX ELECTRONICS FEATURES- Edge Dual-Drive Amplified FM Antenna by Terk The FM Edge utilizes Terks Dual Drive Amplifier circuitry, which minimizes noise in the FM signal with a 2-stage filter/amplifier. The amplification range is 0 to +36 dB, adjustable with a handy thumb wheel. no help June 29, 2010 jtierney002 this antenna was no help. one radio had the antenna in the power cord and no place to hook this antenna to. this did not help the reception on two other radios and one radio as you turned the knob for better recption it made it more static
DOES NOT WORK June 5, 2010 Robert L. Spencer (Sumter, SC USA) THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK IT IS WORSE THAT PAPER CLIP STUCK IN THE CONNECTOR.
This is an absolute winner!!!! December 21, 2009 Gina Alexander (Northern Cali) If it's hard for your to lock into favorite stations, I recommend this antenna. I live between 2 major radio markets where the stations tend to overlap and interfere with each other but with this antenna you'll get astounding reception. It worked great with my Sony FM tuner and now works even better with my Sony HD tuner!!!!
I love it!!!
It Made the HD Lock In December 16, 2009 R. Stoll (louisville) I recently moved in to a new apartment and found that my FM reception was going to be not as good as in the old one.
I tried several different setups on my Sony XDR-F1 HD tuner including a home-brew T2FD I found plans for on the web, and a Hentenna, of which I have built several tuned for FM.
Except for a powered rabbit-ear I use for TV, I got only marginal service.
Well today the Terk FM Edge Dual-Drive arrived and I put it in and immediately got a good stable digital lock on the three stations I have been listening to the most, and was actually surprised when one of them had digital.
These are local stations and it seemed that I should be hearing the digital signal right off, so I'm glad now to find that I will be enjoying digital FM like I had hoped. Here's that little tuner.

Did not work well June 15, 2009 crocagator (Port Saint Lucie, FL) This item did not improve FM reception on my Pioneer receiver. I returned it and purchased the Terk non amplified version which worked much better.
