 Great dvd player, where is the eject button? July 28, 2010

This dvd player produces a great up converted 1080p output. The oddity that I first encountered was that I attempted to eject the dvd via the remote. The remote does not have an eject button. To eject the tray you have to walk over to the machine and press the eject button. It is a little thing, but I like having an eject button on the remote.

This is similar to other Sony products I own, and it worked as soon as I plugged it in. It even responds to the other Sony remotes so I can use the same one for this DVD player and my Sony TV. This DVD player can handle DVDs that some other cannot play.

This is an easy review...If your in the market for a DVD player this is the only one you should consider. The picture is amazing, the different sound fields are excellent and it's a quality piece of equipment. The remote worked on my TV right out of the box - nice! Easy to use, plays all my DVD's old and new and it's a Sony. This component is a great addition to my bedroom setup. Like I mentioned before, if you are in need of a new DVD player, no other option should be considered.

This is a good player but it is not region free. Does anybody know how this can be done?
