Product Description Five tweeters, six woofers, one complete home theater audio experience: the Quintet system from Klipsch. While four compact satellite speakers sporting one 0.75" tweeter and one 3.5" woofer each fill your living room with detailed surround-sound effects, a center-channel speaker equipped with one tweeter and two woofers delivers every line of dialogue with clarity and nuance. High-frequency audio reproduction is enhanced by Klipsch's Micro Tractrix horn technology, and bass-reflex enclosures extend low-frequency performance.

| Customer Reviews: Awesome sound, awkward mounting July 2, 2010 Roger Maxwell (Kilgore, Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased these from a local store rather than from Amazon due to similar pricing and quicker availability. The "multi-function" mounts are a bit over-complicated, but once configured haven't given me any problems. For the price, the sound quality is excellent on anything from 2 channel stereo (music) to multi-channel audio (movies). If it weren't for the complicated mounting system, I'd easily give these speakers 5 stars. You MUST use a subwoofer and spend a bit of time properly setting levels and crossover frequencies, but this is expected for most any set of speakers.
One of the best in it's price range. June 6, 2010 Corey Fisher (Las Vegas, Nevada United States) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I recently bought this system and an extra pair of the quintet series satellite speakers to set up a 7.1 Surround packaged, I paired it with the recommended sub-woofer (the 350) and it's shocking how good it sounds. I'm using these to play True HD and DTS HD and they are stunning. We don't have a very large room so I needed something that would be a breeze to install and have look stylish on the walls. I wall-mounted these speakers and ran some cable through the walls and connected them to a pioneer 7.1 receiver. I have tested about 100 configurations to find the ideal set up for our small living room and these do not disappoint, at all. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty willing to say these are the best speakers you can get in a sub $1000 package for certain. I would only recommend these for small to medium sized living rooms and they definitely sound better then polks and bose, I don't know what hallucinogens the last guy was on... these are far superior then any polks I've heard. Do not buy if you have an open or spacious room, but still, they might be alright for that too. they are pretty loud, clear and have a lot of bass, we don't like to turn these up too loud or they hurt. Highly recommended, don't think twice if your setting up for a small room with HD and limited room.
Little plastic boxes December 5, 2009 James Rhodes (Houston) 10 out of 35 found this review helpful
I moved and left my Polk Audio in-wall satellites (which I absolutely LOVED) in the house I sold. I bought these because it would be hard to do an in-wall installation at the house I bought. Compared to my old Polk's, the sound quality of these Klipsch speakers is hollow and very poor in my opinion. They sound like exactly what they are: Little plastic boxes. For the price, I expected something much, much better. The grills easily fall off. The swivel mounts will not get tight enough to keep them from sagging when mounted on the wall! I scratched the cases up trying to torque down the little allen screws, but never could get them to stand up straight. Within a minute or so they're facing the floor!!! These speakers are a complete waste of money. I think the ones that came with my son's cheapy $200 complete DVD surround system Wal-Mart special sound better than these over-priced little toy plastic boxes. PASS THESE BY. Save your money and get you some real speakers! Get you some Polk Audio's.
